Message of condolence on the death of Ph.D. student Kenneth Thomas Whelan
Dear Cornellians,
I am sorry to report the loss of one of our Ph.D. students, Kenneth Thomas Whelan, who passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. Ken was studying Policy Analysis and Management, and before that, Economics. As a beloved student, husband, father, and son, he will be missed. Our hearts and thoughts go out to his wife, Jenny Lewis, and the couple's two small children, and to Ken's family, friends and colleagues.
A community support meeting will be held this afternoon, November 7, 4 p.m. in 153 Martha Van Rensselaer Hall.
Sincerely,
David Skorton
President
