University recognition restored for Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity; social activities restricted

Effective immediately, the Lambda Chi Alpha national organization has relaxed their limitation of activities of the Cornell chapter and Cornell University restores Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity to full recognition status, after being placed on interim suspension status, a pause in operations, on February 4. The chapter can resume all activities except social activities, and may not host guests at the house other than for chapter business, pending a Greek Judicial Board hearing later this semester.

Lambda Chi Alpha may take advantage of all benefits of recognition with the exception of social activities, in accordance with the recognition policy (pdf).
