Update: Interim suspension lifted for Phi Gamma Delta fraternity

The Office of Fraternities, Sororities and Independent Living has announced that interim suspension of the Cornell chapter of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, which was imposed on February 23, 2016, is lifted as of April 12, 2016, following an April 6, 2016 hearing of the self-governing Greek Judicial Board. The Chapter was found responsible for allowing an informal gathering at their house with both current and new members which included the consumption of alcohol. Sanctions in the form of fines and requirements to complete anti-hazing and alcohol awareness programs were imposed upon the Chapter.

Phi Gamma Delta may take advantage of all benefits of recognition in accordance with the recognition policy.
