Dear Cornellians,
The Class of 2020 will always hold a unique place in our history. Throughout this unprecedented disruption and dispersion of our Cornell community, they have been in the final stretch of their Cornell degrees: finishing their last papers, their last projects and their last exams in a way that no Cornellians have done before.
On this, what should have been their Commencement Weekend, we congratulate them all on their momentous achievements. While we cannot yet celebrate their Commencement, we can, and do, celebrate them, and look forward to the day — may it be soon! — when we will all be able to celebrate Cornell’s 152nd Commencement together in Ithaca.
Congratulations, Class of 2020! Wherever you may be, Cornell will always be a part of you — as you will always be a part of Cornell.
Sincerely,
Martha Pollack
President
