University Statements

The Cornell University Police Department has identified a student suspect in the January 21, 2025 vandalism of the Andrew Dixon White statue on the Arts Quad and continues to investigate additional suspects. The student has been referred to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards (OSCCS), which will adjudicate alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct and, if appropriate, implement temporary restrictions.
