Dear Cornell graduate students and faculty,

We are pleased to announce the ratification of a first collective bargaining agreement with Cornell Graduate Student Workers United – United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America (CGSU-UE).

The contract, which was overwhelmingly approved by CGSU-UE members and by the university, reflects months of negotiation and collaboration, and positions Cornell and all graduate student workers for success.

We value the vital contributions of our graduate student workers to the university’s teaching and research missions, and we look forward to continuing our partnership under this new agreement.
